Fraserburg, with its beautiful passes and vast open Karoo plateau landscapes, offers opportunities for more adventurous past-times, with a number of hiking trails in the district. Along many of these routes are fossils and rock art, and it is because of this that Fraserburg is regarded as one of the best pale-ontological sites in South Africa.
The town also hosts the yearly Logan Drama Festival, which is the oldest and biggest school drama festival. With as many as 40 to 50 plays being show-cased from the top schools around the country, with about 400 – 500 actors on stage during the course of the week, and about 2000 audience members.
Fraserburg offers a community library, museum and various sporting facilities. These facilities are accessible to all clients at Inner Peace, which collaborates with the Fraserburg community on various projects (community garden development and maintenance; community outreach and awareness drives; food projects etc.).
Inner Peace believes in supporting the holistic person, and this means that every resident will be engaging in a variety of sporting and recreational activities.
